Meet Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana's new board members for our 24-25 Fiscal Year!

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Here at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, we strongly believe that Mentorship Matters; what better way to provide mentorship than dedicating your time to serve on the board? With experience in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds, community leaders on our board of directors are ready to use their expertise and skills to serve the community.

This year, we will be gaining the support and expertise of four individuals who are leaders within our community and have their respective titles. With experience in both the corporate and nonprofit world, we will have all new expertise joining the board with George McMinn, Louisville Region Operations VP of Messer Construction, Joi McAtee, the Executive Director of Equity at Louisville Metro Government, Matt Millies, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, and  Mike Vickers, CFO of Qk4.

Here at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, our mission is to create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships that help ignite the power and promise of our youth so they can achieve their full potential.

Our 2023-2024 Fiscal year was great! We made hundreds of new matches in the community and impacted 3,150 lives through connections with caregivers, siblings, and mentors.

This year, we hope to achieve our goals by building out our main office on Newburg Road, offering more programming at our new space in the Goodwill Opportunity Center in West Louisville, and expanding our impact in Southern Indiana.

We are also lucky to have our Board Chair, Isac Roths, with FCAH Aerospace, returning for his third term! We cannot wait to get this new fiscal year off to a strong start with these incredible community leaders bringing a fresh perspective to our organization with the shared goal of having a BIG Impact on the youth in our community.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our board members who will be leaving us for their dedicated years of service to our organization: Jantzen O'Neal, Paul Schneider, Candice Bowen, Todd Frossard, Elias Oxendine.
