Big Brothers Big Sisters set to host sold-out Links for Littles Golf Scramble at Big Spring Country Club
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana (BBBSKY) will host its 14th annual Links for Littles Golf Scramble, presented by FCAH Aerospace, on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Big Spring Country Club.
The sold-out Links for Littles scramble provides an elite experience for golfers while also raising awareness of the mission for BBBSKY—to create and support opportunities for our youth through one-on-one mentoring. The scramble will consist of teams of four with two tee times, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Golfers will receive food, specialty cocktails, goodie bags, and contest prizes throughout the day.
An online silent auction will be live during the event and will be available to anyone within Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Auction items include rare bourbon baskets, exclusive Lou City/Racing Louisville tickets, a Superfecta Churchill Downs experience, and more.
“We look forward to this event each and every year. We love being able to involve our community in our mission and spark some fun through our silent auction. It’s always great seeing our community get involved whether it's through our live and silent auctions, attending the scramble, or even getting involved with our agency once the event is over. We’re doing BIG things with Big Spring and we love the support we receive from our sponsors and community members,” says Gary Friedman, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana.
The event wouldn’t be possible without the support of numerous sponsors, including the presenting sponsor FCAH Aerospace, as well as Brown Forman, GA Telesis, and East & Westbrook Construction.
“FCAH Aerospace is proud to be the presenting sponsor for this year’s Links for Littles event. After being involved with and supporting the event in various ways over the years, we felt it was important this year to elevate the experience for the participants coming in from all around the U.S. to support the mission and make and even bigger impact in our community year after year with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana,” says Isac Roths, President and CEO of FCAH Aerospace.
Tournament foursomes and sponsorships have sold out this year, with all proceeds going directly to programs and activities serving youth in our community.
