the ”Be big” Scholarship application
You have an opportunity to apply for the 2025 “Be Big” Scholarship through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana. Two winners will be awarded $2,000 that will go toward post-secondary education (certificate, credential, associate degree, or bachelor degree). For your application to be considered, you must answer the questions below.
All responses must be submitted online by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 11. Applicants will be notified as to whether an award was received in late April via phone and/or email, and scholarships will be presented at Big Brothers Big Sisters Graduation on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
The scholarship application must be completed in its entirety.
One letter of recommendation should be obtained and submitted along with the completed application from a teacher, coach, mentor, counselor, boss, volunteer supervisor, etc. of your choice.
Letter of Recommendation Prompt: Please tell us about the applicant’s most notable personality qualities, passions, career/educational goals, work ethic, and leadership capabilities.
All application materials must be submitted online.
